William and Kate

The sun is coming up over London, and the city is coming alive. There are always lots of visitors in London, but today something is different. On the Mall, some of the visitors are sleeping in chairs near the road, and others are standing and talking. More and more people are walking, driving, and talking trains into the city. Everybody took photos of prince William when he first arrived at the University of St Andrews. Crowds of people came to the little Scottish town to see this new student who is ninetten years old and grandson of the Queen of England. But nobody photographed Kate Middleton on her first day at the university. She moved in quietly, ready to begin her studies in art history. She was just an ordinary student with an ordinary future in front of her. I was able to enjoy reading this book, becaus there are a lot of beautiful pictures of them. I have been to England last summer vacation. I want to go there once more. Christine, L. (2013). William and Kate . Oxford Bo

A Ghost in Love and Other Plays

The year is 1653. It is a cold, dark winter night and Richard Little, a man of forty, is sitting in his chair. His wife, Mary, comes in. She is making a dress. She has the dress in her hand. Jelly is a nineteen-year-old American, who just wants a good holiday with his friend, Brad. They are travelling round the north of England by bicycle. But strange things begin to happen in the small hotel where they are staying. First, Brad seems to think that he has been there before. And then a girl called Ellen appears... The first of these three original plays is set in the seventeenth century, and the other two take place in modern times. In each play, a ghost comes back from the dead to change the lives of living people. This book is a play, and use a little difficult words. So I had difficulty to read this book. However, I think it makes me more good reader. I want to become a person who can read easily any books. Michael, D. (1999). A Ghost in Love and Other Plays . Oxford Bookworms L

A Little Princess

One cold winter day a little girl and her father arrived in London. Sara Crewe was seven years old, and she had long black hair and green eyes. She sat in the cab next to her father and looked out of the window at the tall houses and the dark sky. Sara had been a happy girl until her father died in India. She became a servant in her school and lived a hard life, but she was always brave like a princess. One day, the man next door found about her, and he was her father's friend. I was very moved. After reading the bok, I thought money's power is very big. However, I believe that money isn't all. I enjoyed my life I don't have a lot of money. I have nice friends, family, and teachers. I don't want to become a person who judge people by their money. Frances Hodgson, B. (2000). A little Princess . Oxford Bookworms Library.

Red Roses

It's August. Anna is playing her guitar on the balcony of her new apartment. "I like it here." she thinks. Then her phone rings. It's her friend Vicki. "I'm coming now, Anna. It's Grandview Apartments, Charlton, isn't it?" "That's right. See you soon." Anna, a music student, comes across a man with white roses, Will outside her apartment building. They don't talk to each other, but they cannot forget each other. One day, Will's friend asks him to take a friend of his to her apartment. I think it is possible to fall in love at first sight. However I haven't fallen in love at first sight, so I can't imagine the feeling. But this story is very nice. I want to meet a man who I fall in love at first sight. Christine, L. (2008). Red Roses . Oxford University Press.

The African Mask

When Janet came home from work on a hot day in August she picked up the mail. "Bills, bills, bills," she thought. Then she saw a blue envelope. She looked at the postmark. "Who is writing to me from Scotland?" she wondered and she opened the letter and started to read.  We did literature circle twice by this book, so I understand about the story very much. This book has  a little strange things. For example, a man who was a boyfriend of Janet send a mail for her, however, he already passed away. I feel horrible. And also, she dreamed a african mask's dream and the african mask's face looks like her old boyfriend. This book's main things is african mask. I didn't see african masks, so I want to see them.  I read this book for the first time, I wasn't able to understand what happens. However I was able to assent the story after literature circle. It was very good time. Gunter, G. (2007). The African Mask . Helbling Readers.

Fireball's Heart

It's a quiet evening in the prairie. Chief Strong Buffalo and Chief Wise Owl are sitting round a fire.  "My people are great hunters. They can find fish in the river and animals in the woods and on the prairie. They speak the language of the trees and the flowers. And they know the name of all the stars," says Chief Strong Buffalo. I think that I want to try to experience life like Native American at once.  Now, we are surrounded many electronic things like TV, computers, smartphone and tablets. So we can live more convenient than ever. However, I feel it is not good for us sometimes. Because, if we use these things every day for many years, our body must be tired. So I think it is good for us to live without electronic things once in a while.    Herbert, P. (2007). Fireball's Heart . Helbling Readers.

The Red-headed League

Well, when they dissolved the League, that was a sign that the tunnel was ready. They needed to use it soon, before the bank discovered the tunnel or removed the gold. Saturday was better than any other day, because the bank was closed and they had two days for their escape. For all these reasons I expected them to come tonight. You reasoned it out beautifully, I said in admiration.   This book is about Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. I like british literature, so I was able to enjoy this book very much. And also, this book has a lot of hint each pages. So we can read putting in order waht happened ever.  I felt this book is a little long, so I took longer time as usual, however, the content is very interesting, so I was able to read smoothly. Arthur Conan, D. (2007). The Red-headed League . Helbling Readers.

The Surprise

It's Saturday evening. Mr and Mrs Phillips and their children, Roger and Helen, are playing cards in the living room. Suddenly the telephone rings in the hall. Mr Phillips gets up and answers it. When he comes back he is smiling.   I read this book for the first time, I thought the pictures are very cute and nice! So, I was able to enjoy reading this book.  When I was a student of elementary school, my brother liked dinosaurs very much and he always said "I want to keep my own dinosaurs!!" I thought it was impossible things. Actually, it's impossible, but we can feel like keeping them. I think it is great things to read book. I want to read various book and experience various things. Gunter, G. (2007). The Surprise . Helbling Readers.

Jack's week started badly. "Where's your homework?" asked Mr Fish on Monday morning. Everyone turned to look at Jack. Jack said confidently, "It's on the table at home." The Westbourne Fair is coming to town and it is Jack's favourite moment of the year. But when he gets into trouble at school his parents say that he can't go to the Fair. Jack decides to go to the Fair anyway and he learns that there are more important things in life than having fun I read this book in literature circle. First I read this book, I can't understand this story, but through I talk about the story with my friend, I can understand the story. So, I think it is important to talk the book with someone. I'm moved this story, because Jack is approved by everyone at last. I think Jack is a little naughty boy, but he is not completely bad. So, he helps young boy at amusement park. I like people like him. Martyn, H. (2009). Jack and the Westbourne Fair . He
